HybridChart was created and designed by Gregory P. Sanders, MD, FACC - a practicing, Harvard-trained, Board-certified cardiologist. Dr. Sanders began his career in software developement long before entering medical training. Throughout the years, Dr. Sanders created real-world solutions for medical institutions such as McGill University, Boston University and Harvard University.
After years of clinical practice and frustration with corporate solutions to the electronic needs of the medical community, Dr. Sanders set out to provide a more realistic and relevant electronic environment. Many of the pitfalls of systems designed by software engineers and corporate investors, are due to the lack of any clinical experience and understanding of medical office system flow. While physician consultants can greatly improve product design, there still lacks a seemless integration into the complex world of office-based medical practice.
Since Dr. Sanders lives and breathes clinical specialty medicine, he was able to adequately survey the opportunities for electronic systems to improve efficiency, decrease medical errors, and reduce cost. Years of scrupulous design led to testing of the product in a live environment - a robust yet diverse cardiology office. Focusing not only on design features, but also paying close attention to implementation issues, HybridChart came to life. A group of physicians who once could never find an optimal solution to their medical needs, discovered an intuitive, user-friendly and practical solution.
